【Press Release Information】This application to Guinness World Records was made to demonstrate the high level of technical skill, a result of the collaboration with Mantle Quest Japan Company Ltd. (MQJ), the company that the operation and management of the Chikyu.

We are pleased to announce that an official Guinness World Records adjudicator will be revealing the results at the following time and location:

Date and Time: Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM (As part of the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) briefing, "JAMSTEC 2025" program)

Location: Tokyo International Forum, Hall B7 (3-5-1 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo)

Event Details: The results will be announced by Mr. Kirimura of Guinness World Records Japan.
